Tracy Tripp – CPA
Tracy specializes in individual, corporate and partnership tax planning and compliance.
Tracy got her Masters in Taxation (MST) from San Jose State in 2008 and her CPA license in 2009 while working for PwC. At PwC San Jose she was part of the core tax, venture capital and specialty tax group.
Since leaving PwC, Tracy has been a partner at Blum & Tripp. Blum & Tripp was cofounded by her father and Eric Blum. She inherited her father’s client list and has worked to grow it. As a partner, she was focused on building out the practice and implementing changes to help modernize the firm.
After over 40 years, Blum & Tripp ceased professional operations on December 31, 2020. Tripp & Associates is the legacy firm founded by Tracy to continue tax compliance operations. Still in the prime of her career, Tracy hopes that Tripp & Associates will be as successful as Blum & Tripp was for her father.
For fun, Tracy loves to travel and spend time with her family and friends. She became the proud mother to a wonderful baby boy in 2018.
John Tripp – CPA
A founding partner of Blum & Tripp with over 40 years of experience in accounting, John has traditionally divided his time between consulting with some of the Bay Area’s top technology companies, and providing tax planning & preparation services to individual, partnership and trust clients. With the termination of Blum & Tripp as a professional agency, John is continuing to work in an advisory role, though with reduced hours.
John started his career with Coopers & Lybrand and worked in the corporate sector at Memorex before co-founding Blum & Tripp.
With his reduced hours, John is hoping to spend his time traveling the world and causing trouble with his two adorable grandsons.
